Hello!

My name is Huimin Liu, and I recently earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. I specialize in early modern European philosophy, with a particular focus on the interplay between metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind. My dissertation explores Spinoza’s doctrine of parallelism and its implications for his ontology of thought. I am passionate about both teaching and engaging with the academic community, having presented my work at various academic gatherings and earned recognition for my teaching excellence. Outside of philosophy, I enjoy photography as a creative outlet. For more details about my research, teaching, and photography, please explore the dedicated pages on this website.
